Reporting by PMOI/MEK

Iran, November 4, 2021—Over 470,300 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 547 cities checkered across all of Iran’s 31 provinces, according to reports tallied by the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) as of Thursday afternoon local time, November 4. The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 126,921, around a fourth of the actual figure.

The coronavirus death toll in various provinces include: 110,255 in Tehran, 38,445 in Razavi Khorasan, 32,060 in Isfahan, 28,775 in Khuzestan, 17,498 in West Azerbaijan, 17,270 in Fars, 17,240 in Mazandaran, 16,390 in Gilan, 13,878 in Alborz, 10,350 in Golestan, 8758 in Hamedan, 7612 in Kurdistan, 5254 in Bushehr, and 4488 in Ilam. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Thursday as 158 deaths and 9862 new cases. Furthermore, 3756 patients are in ICUs and 1251 of the new cases have been hospitalized.

While the corrupt practices of the regime and its officials regarding the vaccination efforts become more public with each passing day, Iranian regime Vice President Mohammad Mokhber made a new and ridiculous claim on Thursday. “Accelerating the vaccination process across the country during the past three months is one of our government’s achievements. There are parties inside the country and abroad that question the government’s efforts through propaganda, aiming to spread despair and disappointment across our society,” he said.

It is worth noting that two days the regime’s own health minister had made contradicting remarks. “We were wrong to have trusted the Barekat vaccine and we are being questioned in this regard,” he said on Tuesday. Mokhber, previously a senior official of the regime’s Headquarters for Executing the Order of the Imam (SETAD) conglomerate, with the Barekat vaccine being produced under his watch, had pledged to produce 50 million Barekat vaccine doses.

“The number of daily deaths remains near the 200 threshold. Therefore, we are in poor conditions,” said a member of the regime’s National Covid-19 Task Force on Thursday, according to the state-run Mardom-Salari daily.

“During the past 24 hours 191 new coronavirus patients have been hospitalized. We currently have 1658 patients hospitalized, of which 194 are in ICUs,” according to a statement released Thursday by the Shiraz Medical Sciences University regarding Fars province.

“125 patients have been hospitalized in the past 24 hours and 141 new cases have been registered. Of the 596 patients hospitalized in total, there are 143 in ICUs and 22 are under ventilators,” according to a statement released on Thursday by the Kermanshah Medical Sciences University.

“During the past 24 hours 78 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized. We currently have 449 patients hospitalized of which 82 are in ICUs,” said the spokesperson of Yazd Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the regime’s official IRIB news agency.

“On Wednesday 243 coronavirus patients were hospitalized. This is the highest daily count in the past ten days. Of the 722 coronavirus patients hospitalized 170 are in ICUs,” according to a statement released on Thursday, according to the state-run Moj news agency.

“During the past 24 hours 253 new patients have been hospitalized. We currently have 1349 patients hospitalized, of which 227 are in ICUs,” according to a joint statement released on Friday by the Isfahan and Kashan Medical Sciences universities.
