The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 106,482 around a fourth of the actual figure.

The coronavirus death toll in various provinces include: 92,296 in Tehran, 28,735 in Razavi Khorasan, 25,920 in Isfahan, 24,166 in Khuzestan, 15,250 in Mazandaran, 14,168 in East Azerbaijan, 13,962 in Fars, 13,778 in West Azerbaijan, 13,750 in Lorestan, 13,465 in Gilan, 11,443 in Alborz, 10,188 in Kerman, 9375 in Golestan, 6903 in Kermanshah, 6815 in Hormozgan, 6778 in Yazd, 6182 in Kurdistan, 5164 in North Khorasan, 4895 in Ardabil, 4504 in Bushehr, 3950 in Zanjan, 3883 in Ilam, 3581 in South Khorasan, and 2919 in Kohgiluyeh & Boyer Ahmad. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Sunday as 581 deaths and 31,516 new cases. Furthermore, 7877 patients are in ICUs (new pandemic record) and 3614 of the new cases have been hospitalized.

In Tehran, Nader Tavakoli, the deputy head of the capital’s Covid-19 Task Force said on Sunday that the number of coronavirus deaths remains high, and these numbers will continue to rise. “20,400 people sought initial medical care in hospitals for coronavirus symptoms and 4100 in other health facilities. We had more than 2000 new patients being hospitalized, of which nearly 15 percent were placed in ICUs. Currently we have 9350 people hospitalized in emergency and special branches. Beds do not remain empty and considering the number of people being released, patients are transferred directly from the emergency section to the various branches of the hospital,” Tavakoli added, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“In Tehran province during the past week there was a 5.5 percent increase in the number of new positive cases and 7.5 percent increase in the number of deaths,” according to a Sunday report wired by the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“With the lambda variant entering the country the next peak will begin with a more intense rate. This variant is more capable in evading the vaccine and decrease the contracting age,” said a senior official in Tehran’s renowned Masih Daneshvari Hospital on Sunday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“We have 4367 coronavirus patients hospitalized, of which 585 are in ICUs. During the past 24 hours 66 coronavirus patients have lost their lives,” according to a statement released by the Isfahan and Kashan Medical Sciences universities on Sunday, according to the state-run IMNA news agency.

In Khuzestan province, physicians are saying the number of people seeking medical treatment in the Razi Hospital of Ahvaz has increased by to six to seven-fold. Furthermore, 200 people are hospitalized each day and there 1200 people currently hospitalized. The Jondi Shapour, Golestan, and other hospitals are extremely crowded. All the patients are in dire conditions and there is a need for ICUs. The number of deaths is also climbing.

The medical staff in Khuzestan are exhausted and there is a major shortage in such professionals available. The wage increase provided for medical professionals is far below the inflation and tax increases. When regime President Ebrahim Raisi visited Razi Hospital it was nothing but a show and the Presidency’s Special Unit was stationed at the hospital from 5 am and hospital officials were not allowed to get anywhere close to Raisi.

“In the Naft Hospital of Ahvaz the library and praying room are now used to hospitalize patients. In one hospital we have prepared beds for coronavirus patients in the operation room’s recovery area,” said the dean of Ahvaz Medical Sciences University on Sunday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“The numbers of new cases and those being hospitalized are rising. Currently the capacity of our branches, ICU beds and emergency beds are reaching their limits,” said the head of Razi Hospital in Ahvaz on Sunday, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“With 430 new patients hospitalized, the total number now stands at 4593, of which 398 are in ICUs. During the past 24 hours we have lost 36 patients,” said the deputy dean of Shiraz Medical Sciences University on Sunday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“During the past two weeks the number of deaths has risen by 75 percent. The number of new cases has increased by 18 percent in comparison to two weeks ago,” according to a Sunday report wired by the Mehr news agency from the Ilam province.

“Each day we have 620 new coronavirus patients hospitalized. Currently there 3600 patients hospitalized, of which 680 are in ICUs, especially in the city of Mashhad,” according to a Sunday statement released by the Mashhad Medical Sciences University.

“Since the official coronavirus stats in Iran is confidential and kept away from the country’s health apparatus, they are only a tip of the iceberg. Based on two other official and approved sources of the epidemiology sector from inside the Tehran Medical Sciences University, the real Covid-19 numbers of our country is many times the existing stats. Four thousand minors and newborns with Covid-19 symptoms were hospitalized in Kermanshah in the span of just one month. Fifty-two minors lost their lives to coronavirus during the past 18 months. In Isfahan province, 1800 minors contracted Covid-19 since March 21. These numbers seriously discredit the National Covid-19 Task Force spokesperson,” according to a Sunday piece in the state-run Hamdeli daily.
