“The spread of coronavirus in the city of Ardastan is beyond critical and can lead to irreparable consequences for the families,” said the director of Ardastan Health Network in Isfahan province on Wednesday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“The number of coronavirus patients hospitalized remains high. Ilam has the highest number of patients being hospitalized per capita among all provinces,” said the deputy dean of Ilam Medical Sciences University on Wednesday, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“During the past 24 hours the number of confirmed coronavirus cases have jumped by 34 percent, patients hospitalized by 16 percent, and dire patients by 15.5 percent,” said the deputy dean of Qazvin Medical Sciences University on Wednesday, according to the Tasnim news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force.

“The status quo is fragile and the number of people seeking initial medical care for Covid-19 symptoms remains high. During the past 24 hours 148 new patients have been hospitalized in Fars province and 173 are in ICUs,” according to a statement released by the Shiraz Medical Sciences University on Wednesday.

“During the past 24 hours 552 coronavirus cases have been identified. We currently have 841 patients hospitalized, of which 196 are in ICUs and 43 are under ventilators,” according to a statement released by the West Azerbaijan Covid-19 Task Force on Wednesday.

The state-run Hamdeli newspaper wrote on Wednesday: “Even the government is not willing to accept responsibility regarding the imported vaccines or those produced inside Iran. Based on a written commitment, the possible side-effects is upon the individual who injected the vaccine. Some available vaccine brands are so unreliable that they have not even received approval for trial or emergency use, and after they were provided to the people in large numbers, they were quietly swept under the carpet.”
