Iran, Dec. 20, 2018 – Teachers in Isfahan rallied on Thursday, protesting not receiving any answers regarding their demands. This gathering was held outside the city’s Education Department located on “Hasht Behesht” Avenue.
The teachers were heard chanting:
“You’ve taken the budget, while kids are burning in fire,” referring to a recent tragic fire incident in Zahedan, southeast Iran, that took the lives of three elementary and kindergarten schoolchildren.
The teachers were holding up various signs reading:
“Jailed teachers must be released – Teachers, workers, students, unite, unite – Neither the ruler [referring to Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei] nor the government [referring to Iranian regime President Hassan Rouhani], none are thinking about the people.
– "Our enemy is right here, they lie in saying it’s America.”

In other news, stall owners selling fruits and vegetables in Ahvaz went on strike, protesting the problems created for them by city authorities and not having enough area to place their goods for sale.
They were holding a large sign reading:
“To our dear customers: According to agreements reached between stall owners, due to a series of existing problems created by a variety of different organizations… the municipality and other entities, and considering the fact that we do not have enough space to present our products, this square will be closed on Thursday until our issues are resolved.”
Farmers in the town of Dashtestan of Bushehr province in southern Iran rallied on Thursday, protesting a decrease in their water shares for their lands. This gathering was held outside the provincial office and farmers were seen symbolically spread table on the ground to say they and their families have nothing to eat.
