Iran, September 8, 2021—On Tuesday, September 6, a group of Telecommunication Company employees in the city of Qom, central Iran, held a rally to protesting the official’s refusal to implement laws approved by the regime’s own Majlis (parliament). These protesters are demanding a change to their employment status.
On Tuesday, September 6, teachers from many cities across Iran held gathered outside the Education Ministry building protesting the Ministry’s refusal to employ them.
It is worth noting that there are around 25,000 teachers have passed the official employment test and the Education Ministry continues its refusal to provide employment for them.
These teachers have held several protest rallies since last year to fulfill their demands. To this day the regime has not responded to their long-raised issues.
On Monday, September 6, a group of workers of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company in the city of Shush, southwest Iran, resumed their rallies protesting officials’ refusal to clarify the company’s ownership and management, and the dismissal and installations carried out by company managers.
The protesting workers gathered and marched in the company's courtyard. The area of Haft Tappeh in Khuzestan province is considered Iran’s largest agricultural complex. Company workers have been regularly protesting delayed wages, poor working conditions, and unstable contracts. The protesting workers also forced company managers out of the management department and closed the department’s entrance of the department. They are also demanding their paychecks that have been delayed for two months now.
A group of locals in the village of Ghiazi village near the city of Shadegan in southwest Iran gathered outside the governor's office on Monday, September 6, protesting regime officials’ refusal to build a school in this village.
