July 31, 2018 – As reports and videos from Isfahan, central Iran, show a demonstration by locals protesting skyrocketing prices and severe water/electricity shortages, other cities across the country are also witnessing protests, gatherings and demonstrations.
Clients of the Revolutionary Guards-linked Caspian credit firm rallied outside a branch in the city of Rasht, northern Iran, demanding their savings returned. They were heard chanting, “With these corrupt thieves, Iran will never be prosperous, Iran will never be free.”

At the same time, other plundered Caspian credit holders in Tehran rallied on Tuesday, July 31st in front of the Central Bank demanding their looted investments.

In Isfahan, the latest report indicates that striking truck drivers have joined the protesting bazaar merchants in solidarity.
In Ahvaz, southwest Iran, a large number of teachers rallied from across the province of Khuzestan outside the provincial Education Department, demanding higher wages.
Employees of the Zanjan railway station staged a protest rally on Tuesday, demanding their due paychecks. They haven’t been paid for the past four months and not received their insurance pensions for 12 months.
These hardworking railway employees and their colleagues have been protesting in numerous cities across the country, including in Tabriz, Shahroud, Damqan, Semnan, Lorestan, Andimeshk and Eslamshahr, located southeast of Tehran, protesting and launching strikes for not receiving their due paychecks.
