Iran, July 5, 2021—The Iranian regime is constantly promoting various types of domestic vaccines, and in recent days, different officials and institutions have been claiming to produce a type of Covid-19 vaccine.
In this propaganda show, Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei also played the leading role and injected the so-called domestic vaccine, but the institutions that claim to produce the vaccine do not dare to take one of these vaccines to the international health organization for check and approval.
Observers believe that Khamenei's focus on producing a variety of domestic Covid-19 vaccines is first, to cover up the recent election scandal, and second, to further plunder the wealth of the Iranian people.
The falsehoods about domestic vaccine production reached such level that the commander of the Revolutionary Guards claims that the regime is ready to export Iranian vaccines to the United States.
"It's time for us to give the United States the Covid-19 vaccine, and if Americans are short of vaccines, we are ready to help," said Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the IRGC, according to a June 28 report by Arman daily.
In response to this claim Minoo Mohraz, a member of National Covid-19 Task Force, said: "The United States itself has enough vaccines and has even given 500 million doses of the vaccine to KOVAX (COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access) to help other countries.” (Source: Emtedad website, June 27)
Arman further wrote, "Technology and data from social networks, cultural, economic and even political networks have exposed the realities and capabilities of countries to the public, and in the current situation, societies rightly recognize their power in the international system and are not influenced by propaganda because what they perceive with their blood and flesh is they believe as a real scale. Today's Iranian society is no exception to this global rule. Accordingly, decision-makers have a duty to speak and act in accordance with the realities of the society. Fortunately, these days, advertising in the field of discovering and producing all kinds of Iranian vaccines works. However, when people see that previous promises of some officials regarding the public vaccination have not been fulfilled, they become worried about the officials’ promises during these days as well as the advertisements that are made and heard in order to produce different Iranian vaccines. Actions speak louder than words.”
According to a June 30 report by Jahan-e Sanat daily, "Iran has unveiled seven vaccines so far: Cov Barekat, Pastor, Razi, Fakhra, Cinnagen, Iranian Sputni,k and now Noora. But there’s virtually no vaccination process…
According to Ministry of Health officials, Iran will soon become one of the poles of the Covid-19 vaccine in the world. Three days ago, it was announced that approximately 5.5 percent of the country's population had been vaccinated, while in neighboring countries, none of which have claimed or attempted to produce the vaccine, the vaccination process has reached children.”
Earlier, health ministry officials announced that a domestic vaccine would be launched in mid-spring and people would be vaccinated, but public vaccination did not take place in the spring, and according to advertisements for vaccines, only a small number of people have received the first dose.
"Officials in Iran still do not have a specific plan for vaccination, and there is severe congestion and disorder in many vaccines injection sites," according to a June 30 report by the Resalat daily.
The claim of making various Iranian vaccines comes as health officials warn about the spread of the fifth Covid-19 wave in different cities and regions across the country.
"The threefold increase in red cities and the growth in the number of outpatients and inpatients are signs of the fifth wave of the Covid-19 in the country," Javan daily reported on June 30.
"We are witnessing an increase in the disease in the southern and southeastern provinces, and this situation can be seen in provinces such as Bushehr, Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman and Yazd," said Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari on June 29, according to the official IRNA news agency.
"The increase in coronavirus outpatients in Tehran should be considered as a warning, and yesterday, for the first time in several days, the number of outpatients increased by more than 10,000 people," said Alireza Zali the head of committee to combat coronavirus in Tehran, according to the official IRNA news agency on June 30.
According to the latest official statistics, which have naturally been downplayed, 63 cities in the country are in red, 184 cities are in orange and 201 cities are in yellow situation.
The situation in Tehran is so critical that the ISNA news agency wrote in a report that Tehran's redness is certain.
The regime is making false claims about the production of the Covid-19 vaccine while the pandemic has so far killed more than 300,000 people due to the regime’s anti-people policy.
By banning valid vaccines and making hollow promises of domestically produced vaccines, Khamenei trapped the people more and more in Covid-19 to stop them from rioting and protesting.
But he has miscalculated because every death from the Covid-19 will add to the anger and hatred of the people against the regime, and the widespread and nationwide uprisings and protests of the various segments of the people despite the virus, especially in recent months, reflect this fact.
Although Khamenei and his regime wanted to block the uprising with a policy of mass casualties, in practice this policy has become a disaster for them.
