Iran coronavirus update: Over 469,100 deaths, more reports of stats rising across the country

Iran, November 2, 2021—Over 469,100 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 547 cities checkered across all of Iran’s 31 provinces, according to reports tallied by the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) as of Tuesday afternoon local time, November 1. The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 126,616, around a fourth of the actual figure.

The coronavirus death toll in various provinces include: 109,945 in Tehran, 38,350 in Razavi Khorasan, 31,960 in Isfahan, 28,695 in Khuzestan, 17,423 in West Azerbaijan, 17,210 in Mazandaran, 16,355 in Gilan, 15,585 in Lorestan, 13,843 in Alborz, 8649 in Kermanshah, and 7582 in Kurdistan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Tuesday as 160 deaths and 10,104 new cases. Furthermore, 3818 patients are in ICUs and 160 of the new cases have been hospitalized.

“There is no doubt that coronavirus remains active and can render more crises. In the three main indexes of new cases, people being hospitalized, and deaths we have seen an increase since Saturday, showing 44.76 percent, 18.28 percent, and 19.5 percent escalations, respectively. Little by little there needs to be official planning on how to manage these issues,” reads a Tuesday report wired by the Tasnim news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force.

“During the past 24 hours we have lost 21 coronavirus patients. We currently have 1061 patients hospitalized, of which 233 are in ICUs and 49 are under ventilators,” according to a statement released on Tuesday by the West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University.

“We have 1683 patients hospitalized, of which 206 are in ICUs receiving special care,” said the deputy dean of Shiraz Medical Sciences University of Fars province on Tuesday, according to the IRGC-affiliated Fars news agency.

“The number of people being hospitalized continues to rise. During the past 24 hours 114 people have been hospitalized. There is a total of 429 patients hospitalized, of which 84 are in ICUs,” according to a statement released on Tuesday by the Yazd Medical Sciences University.

“We currently have 605 coronavirus patients hospitalized. During the past 24 hours 220 patients were temporarily hospitalized and received Remdesivir in medical centers across Kermanshah province. We have 144 patients in ICUs, of which 28 are in critical conditions,” according to a statement released on Tuesday by the Kermanshah Medical Sciences University.

“The number of new Covid-19 cases is rising. During the past 24 hours we have registered 230 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus in [Semnan] province,” according to a statement released on Tuesday by the Semnan Province Covid-19 Task Force.

“During the past 24 hours 219 new patients have been hospitalized. There are currently 1346 patients hospitalized, of which 227 are in ICUs,” according to a joint statement released on Tuesday by the Kashan and Isfahan Medical Sciences universities.
