While Alireza Raisi, the spokesperson of the National Covid-19 Taskforce declared that the UK strain coronavirus is spreading in 31 provinces, and while barely 1,000 people have been vaccinated, regime president Hassan Rouhani outrageously claimed, “Despite all problems, we’ve been successful in developing the Covid-19 vaccine and are closer to the final phases. We achieved these successes while many advanced countries have not yet reached a reliable vaccine.”

Rouhani expressed hope that “by March 2022, there will be the possibility of vaccinating the entire population and this year will be the year we overcome coronavirus.” Rouhani once again boasted about his 10-million-rial (approx. $40) loan plan and a monthly million rial (approx. $4) handout for four-to-seven months to parts of the population.

Sima Sadat Lari, the spokesperson of the health ministry, reported five cities have been added to the list of red zones and eight cities were added to orange zones.
