Floods in Iran – Barrier near Ahvaz breaks, rising water endangers more people

Iran, April 15, 2019 – As millions of Iranians across the country continue to suffer from the lack of any state aid in the face of an escalating flood crisis, recent reports indicate a flood barrier in the Eyn Do district of Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan Province, has been broken. Floodwaters are fast approaching residential areas and local farms.
