On September 9, Iranian regime President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Ministry of Intelligence, according to Mehr News agency. Pezeshkian president praised the regime’s spies and torturers, saying: “You are the true soldiers of this revolution, soldiers who, without claiming fame or fortune, are working anonymously, striving and working hard, and the more one is pure, the closer they are to God.
“If we do something that satisfies the people, do we stabilize the State, the Islamic Republic, and the revolution, or do we betray the revolution and the State? If we make the people satisfied, this system will endure. The state will be preserved.”
It is clear what Pezeshkian means by “betrayal” and things that “satisfy the people: and preserve and stabilize the regime, as he has already answered these questions by praising the leaders of this terrifying institution of murder and terror.
The Ministry of Intelligence officially holds one of the most disgraceful records of public asset plundering, and its leaders are deeply involved in various types of profiteering, extortion, theft, and governmental embezzlement, which needs no further explanation.
Before going to visit at Ministry of Intelligence, Pezeshkian attended at the Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter, a firm controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). There he claimed the IRGC and Basij (A paramilitary volunteer militia within IRGC) members are the solution to the regime’s problems, stating that he and his government were part of the IRGC, saying: “I thank you dear ones for your efforts and the work being done. After all, we are part of you. We were Basij members, we are Basij members, we will remain Basij members, and this true Basij mindset can save the country” (Source: State television – September 6).
Pezeshkian took his submission to the IRGC a step further, saying: “Our government is your government!” This, despite knowing full well that the IRGC, particularly centers like the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, have seized control of the country’s economic arteries and function as a state above the state. Even former President Hassan Rouhani, himself a seasoned security figure within the regime, repeatedly stated in the power and plunder struggle that the IRGC had created their own government, complete with guns, money, and media.
Indeed, Pezeshkian’s claim that his government is the government of the IRGC is not far-fetched; when introducing his cabinet in the Majlis (parliament), he stated that the formation of the cabinet was done in agreement with security agencies, the IRGC, the Ministry of Intelligence, and all those who needed to agree.
In his further remarks at the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, Pezeshkian outlined his tools and methods for solving problems, for example, promising: “We can solve the entire shortage of schools within a year with a Basij mindset.”
Thus, Pezeshkian, who claimed to avoid making promises, especially specific ones with numbers that he could not fulfill, but promised to solve the school shortage within a year with a “Basij mindset.”
From the beginning, Pezeshkian stated that he had come because he saw the regime in danger, and his plan was to implement the regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s policies. On the day he introduced his cabinet to the parliament, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) warned that “the new government of the mullahs, like previous administrations, is merely a tool in the hands of Khamenei and the IRGC. It shows no divergence from the key policies of the regime, especially in terms of repression, plundering, nuclear projects, terrorism, and foreign warmongering.”
