How the mullahs’ regime destroyed the “Made in Iran” brand

The Iranian regime’s main sources of financial resources are the sale of Iranian assets, resources and products at any cost to limited markets where they are bought at the lowest price. When the wealth and the wealth of a nation are in the possession of a criminal robber, there is no accountability. Yet from the engineered statistics of the state’s centers, little can be depicted of the many systematic theft and looting of the regime.

For decades, products made in Iran have been sold at low prices to regime sponsors. Local media also report some of these transactions. “The price per ton of Iranian-made export goods shows that exports of value-added goods have fallen to the point that Iranian goods have been auctioned off globally,” Donya-eqtesad wrote on October 14. “This is reflected in the latest customs data.”

Examining the value trend of non-oil exports over a 20-year period, the same report found that in the best year of exports, products branded “Made in Iran”, which in 2008 were worth $551 per ton of goods, have reached $356 per ton of goods in 2023, a drop of about 50 percent to fixed price and 30 percent to current prices. As a result, the power of the “Made in Iran” brand in global markets has decreased significantly. Just 20 years ago, 15 million tons of non-oil goods brought in about $6 billion in revenue. This means that each ton of goods has been sold for about $386, which is $30 more than it was priced in 2023. If the dollar is valued 20 years ago, Iranian goods would have sold 40 percent cheaper than they were 20 years ago.

The most profitable goods for export

Iran’s economy is oil and rental, and from this context, the astronomical and unimaginable profits reach the regime’s gangs and mafia, including Khamenei, the mullahs, and the Revolutionary Guards. The most lucrative export goods are oil and gas and semi-crude petrochemical products that are distributed to rent and subsidy for their acquisition. On May 9, 2020, Buskool websrite wrote:  “In general, the most lucrative commodity for export in Iran is related to petroleum products, mineral and petrochemical products, agricultural products and raw materials.”

Exports of subsidies instead of non-oil exports

The same economic conditions have persisted in both the Shah and the mullahs’ regimes and dried up the roots of Iran’s national economy. A few years ago, a regime official admitted that in reality subsidies and cheap energy are exported instead of non-oil goods. On April 27, 2019, Radio Eghtesad website wrote: “The head of Iran-China Chamber of Commerce said:  In practice, we export subsidies and cheap energy instead of non-oil goods. The bulk of non-oil exports are raw materials, petrochemicals (up to 80% subsidy for production), steel, sand, and cement, which are cheap, subsidized to produce that can actually be said that the government indirectly exports national subsidies out of people’s pockets instead of non-oil goods.”

Meanwhile, 90 percent of the foreign exchange revenues from exports are in the hands of incumbent governments, and an agreed portion of it is in the hands of the custodians of the petrochemical, steel, large mines and basic metals, i.e. the Revolutionary Guards and the children of regime officials.

Thousands of medical professionals auctioned every year

The disaster does not just include the auction of Iran’s national assets. The exodus of thousands of educated young men, elite experts and professors is the most tragic and irreparable of them all. They have traveled to other countries to show how the religious fascism destroys the existence and human and material property of a country and nation.

A former MP said: “Every year ‘10,000 people’ from Iran’s medical staff (doctors, nurses, midwives) and the ‘best paramedics’ migrate from the country. A spokesperson for the Iranian Medical Council also acknowledged that ‘medical community migration’ has ‘doubled in the previous years’ and that Iran now ‘exports’ doctors to five continents.” (source: Khabar Online, October 14, 2023)

Yes, the destruction of the structure and structure of an entity called Iran with all its components and members is the product of the mullahs’ regime, with no way but to overthrow it.
