Reported by PMOI/MEK
Iran, Aug. 6, 2019 – Marking the anniversary of Iran’s 1906 Constitutional Revolution, members of “Resistance Units” – a network associated closely to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) – celebrated this day by pledging their allegiance to continue this path aiming to establish freedom, democracy and human rights in Iran.
In Ahvaz, southwest Iran, resistance units members put up a large placard marking this anniversary.
In Shahr-e Rey, south of Tehran, resistance units members visited the grave of Sattarkhan, leader of the 1906 Constitutional Revolution movement in Iran, and paid their respects to him as a national hero.
In Khorasan Razavi Province, northeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 794 put up images of Sattarkhan and Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi with quotes of the latter reading, “Our response to the mullahs’ supreme leader is short and simple: Shah, Sultan, Mullahs’ regime, your time is up.”
In Tehran, resistance units members took to graffiti to mark the memory of Sattarkhan.
It is worth noting that the Iranian regime considers supporting the PMOI/MEK as punishable by death. Therefore, these individuals are literally risking their lives.
