On March 14, the city of Zahedan, one of the main centers of resistance against the Iranian regime, witnessed a new escalation in the activities of PMOI Resistant Units. Despite tight security measures, the PMOI Resistance Units carried out a series of operations, continuing their previous actions. At the same time, they are strengthening the spirit of resistance within society, particularly in oppressed cities like Zahedan, where the Baluch and Sunni populations face extreme persecution. They are also exposing the regime’s vulnerability in the face of a growing popular revolution, demonstrating its inevitable downfall.
Equally important, they are reinforcing that the alternative to the current regime is neither the return of the Shah nor the continuation of the mullahs’ rule but the establishment of a democratic and pluralistic republic based on human rights, freedom, and justice.
The latest activities of the Resistant Units in Zahedan demonstrate that the people’s resistance remains unwavering despite brutal repression.
