Iran’s youth respond with fire as regime seeks to crush uprising with executions

On Saturday, March 2, 2025, coinciding with the worsening internal crisis of the regime and protests by the frustrated people, Iran’s regime, fearing an uprising and to control the situation, resorted to the mass execution of prisoners and executed at least 27 prisoners on the eve of Ramadan.

While 54 prisoners were executed from February 26 to March 2, 2025, meaning three prisoners every five hours, executions continue in various prisons across the country, and the regime refuses to announce statistics and names.

In response to the increasing executions by the regime to intensify repression, on Sunday, March 3, Iran’s rebellious youth struck at branches of the regime’s centers execution, suppression, and crime in 15 operations.

In their latest round of operations, with the slogan “No to executions,” the rebellious youth targeted several regime centers and symbols:

  • Five incendiary operations at a regime center for executions in Bavi, Khuzestan province
  • Setting fire to two bases of the suppressive State Security Forces in Kermanshah
  • Setting fire to two centers of terrorism and fundamentalism and suppression of women in Kerman
  • Setting fire to a center of fundamentalism and crime in Yazd province
  • Setting fire to the center of terrorism and fundamentalism in Gorgan
  • Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base in Tehran
  • Setting fire to the Basij base in Tehran
  • Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base in Varamin
  • Setting fire to the anti-student Basij base in Urmia
  • Setting fire to symbols and regime banners with the images of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini, regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei, and terror master Qasem Soleimani in Mashhad, Ardabil, Amol, Kerman, and Sirjan

Prior to this, in a previous round of operations on Monday, February 24, 2025, the rebellious youth attacked the regime with the slogan “No to executions” in 15 operations.

The rebellious youth targeted the IRGC Basij in Isfahan and setting fire to a center of terrorism and fundamentalism and suppression of women in Tehran.

The rebellious youth also set fire to the cursed images of Khomeini and Khamenei and targeted symbols of the executioner regime, centers of suppression, bases of the Basij and IRGC, and centers of fundamentalism and crime.

The execution of 27 prisoners in just one day and the execution of dozens of prisoners in the first days of the Persian month of Esfand (beginning on February 19) are new records of bloodshed by the regime in recent years.

Resorting to these unbridled crimes indicates the regime’s intense fear of popular protest movements that are fed up with the backbreaking inflation, lack of electricity and fuel, and the crisis of unemployment and business closures.

With these executions and the creation of an atmosphere of fear and repression, the mullahs’ regime wants to stifle the cries of protest.

But the activities of Iran’s brave rebellious youth against symbols of suppression and centers of the IRGC, Basij, and other regime institutions prove to the regime that it cannot silence the plundered and betrayed people with these crimes.
