Suspicious fire in ward 325 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison

A fire erupted in ward 325 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, the special ward of detained clerics, during the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 1st, with the prisoners’ supplies being set on fire and the inmates themselves suffering from suffocation.
According to reports received from inside Iran, when the fire had erupted the I-phone line connecting ward 325 to the outside was cut off and the ward doors were all locked. It is said that after the inmates began shouting and screaming, terrified because the ward doors were closed, the inmates of other wards began breaking the doors and helping them out.
The inmates detained in ward 325 were suffering from breathing difficulties due to the fire.
