Ad Melkert, former Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General to Iraq, head of UNAMI (UN Assistance Mission to Iraq) and a renowned Dutch politician, delivered a speech at Free Iran 2018, the largest Iranian opposition gathering in Villepinte, France. Melkert commended the efforts of the Albanian government for resettling members of PMOI/MEK in their country and also voiced his support for the cause of the Iranian opposition coalition NCRI for freedom in Iran.
