Iran resistance units putting up Maryam Rajavi posters

Reported by PMOI/MEK

Iran, Aug. 25, 2018 – Members of the PMOI/MEK resistance units across Iran have been seen marking the 30th anniversary of the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners, mostly members, and supporters of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

Iranian regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini had sought to silence any voice of dissent in Iran. The new generation in Iran is proving the resistance continues as we speak.

In her message last year, Iranian opposition President Maryam Rajavi said the PMOI/MEK showed the utmost loyalty to the meaning of freedom and Iran’s history, all in the face of Khomeini’s brutality. The PMOI/MEK have been relentless in their struggle for freedom and democracy.

Mrs. Rajavi also hailed all massacred prisoners of the 1988 tragedy for standing firm on their position against the mullahs’ regime in the fight for freedom. The Iranian regime continues to suffer from their bravery to this very day. The Iranian regime has sought to even destroy their mass graves. The Iranian people, however, have kept their memory in their hearts and will continue to do so.

Another resistance unit held a placard written:

“Hail to the 1988 massacre heroes/heroines who said no to this regime and ensured this regime’s overthrow”

Resistance units in Northern Khorasan Province wrote this in graffiti:

“Death to Khamenei, the 1988 massacre murderer; Hail to Rajavi”

Another resistance unit in Mashhad wrote this in graffiti:

“Death to Khamenei, the murderer of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988”
