Iran, Sept. 8, 2018 – Members of resistance units in Iran have been celebrating the 53rd founding anniversary of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) by setting fire to various images of senior Iranian regime officials, including regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and current regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The “Radio Mojahed” station has also been relaunched, coinciding with the PMOI/MEK’s 53rd founding anniversary.
Members of a resistance unit in Kohgiluyeh of southern Iran set two large banners of Khomeini and Khamenei on fire.
Resistance Unit 212 members in Qom, central Iran, installed a poster of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi.
In Yazd, members of Resistance Unit 575 put up a poster of the PMOI/MEK’s symbol.
In Isfahan, resistance unit members pledged their allegiance with the PMOI/MEK and Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi.
Resistance unit members in Zanjan, northwest Iran, put up a tract congratulating the PMOI/MEK on their founding anniversary.
Resistance Unit 660 of Tehran also expressed their loyalty to the PMOI/MEK and Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi.
In Karaj, west of Tehran, members of a resistance unit put up a poster celebrating this day.
Resistance Unit 220 of Tehran held posters congratulating the PMOI/MEK on their founding anniversary.
In Salmas, members of Resistance Unit 921 sent a message from outside a Revolutionary Guards base in this city congratulating the PMOI/MEK on their founding anniversary.

In Qom, central Iran, members of a resistance unit put up a tract congratulating the PMOI/MEK on this occasion.
Resistance Unit 111 members in Khorramabad, western Iran, put up a placard on a pedestrian bridge congratulating the PMOI/MEK’s founding anniversary.
Resistance Unit 176 members in Tabriz, northwest Iran, also celebrated this occasion and pledged their allegiance with Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi.
In Tehran, members of a resistance unit held a tract in various areas of the capital expressing their congratulations on this occasion.
Members of a resistance unit in Khorramshahr, southwest Iran, also celebrated the PMOI/MEK’s founding anniversary.
Members of resistance units in Kermanshah, western Iran, expressed their congratulations on this occasion through graffiti writing.
In Karaj, members of Resistance Unit 740 sent a message to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi on this occasion and expressing their readiness to continue their struggle until the mullahs’ regime is overthrown.
