Reported by PMOI/MEK
Iran, March 4, 2019 – More cities across Iran are witnessing members of “Resistance Units,” a vast network associated directly to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), expanding their measures by setting icons of the mullahs on fire to end the climate of fear imposed by the regime’s crackdown apparatus on the country.
Members of Resistance Unit 394 in Neyshabur, northeast Iran, set fire to the entrance of a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij site by throwing a number of Molotov cocktails. They were heard chanting, “Death to [mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 136 set fire to a Khamenei poster while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Damn Khomeini.”
Members of Resistance Unit 382 in Zanjan, northwest Iran, set fire to the entrance of a regime site. They took footage during and after their brave measures.
In Isfahan, central Iran, members of Resistance Unit 996 set fire to another IRGC Basij base while chanting, “Khamenei, you murderer, Resistance Units will topple you – Hail to Rajavi.”
Members of a resistance unit in East Azerbaijan Province, northwest Iran, also set fire to a local IRGC Basij base.
Back in Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 168 set fire to a propaganda poster belonging to the Ministry of Intelligence & Security (MOIS) containing images of Khamenei and regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini.
Members of Resistance Unit 357 in Tehran set fire to the entrance of regime site while chanting, “Death to Khamenei.”
In Lorestan Province, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 416 set fire to a poster of the local Khamenei representative while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi – We answer fire with fire.”
Members of a resistance unit in Delijan, central Iran, set fire to a large Khamenei billboard.
It is worth noting that these are very risky measures and if arrested those involved will face arrest, torture and even execution. The mullahs in Iran consider any membership in or support for the PMOI/MEK as punishable by death.
