Iran, April 30, 2019 – Members of Resistance Units, a network associated closely to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), joining brave youths in cities throughout Iran, are broadening activities and measures targeting icons of the mullahs’ regime ruling Iran.
Members of Resistance Unit 560 in Khorasan Razavi Province, northeast Iran, set fire to a large poster of the mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In the city of Khomein, Markazi Province, central Iran, members of Resistance Unit 713 set fire to a large image of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and Khamenei.
Members of Resistance Unit 1005 in Kermanshah, western Iran, set fire to a Khomeini poster while chanting, “We swear to God that we will overthrow you.”
In West Azerbaijan Province, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 545 set fire and completely destroyed a Khomeini/Khamenei poster.
Members of Resistance Unit 133 in the city of Ardabil, northwest Iran, set fire to a regime site that the mullahs claim to be a religious school.
In Mashhad, northeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 512 set fire to the entrance of a site associated with the regime’s terrorist-designated Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij base.
