On the anniversary of the 1979 Iranian Revolution that toppled the Shah’s regime, the Resistance Units affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) intensified their anti-regime activities across various Iranian cities. These units are underground resistance groups operating inside Iran, organizing popular protests, countering the regime’s repression, and fostering a spirit of defiance among the people.

Throughout the past month, the Resistance Units carried out a series of activities, including graffiti with anti-regime slogans, distributing images of Resistance leaders, and spreading messages from Massoud Rajavi, the leader of the Iranian Resistance, through leaflets and posters. These activities were reported in multiple cities, including Tehran, Babol, Zahedan, Shiraz, and Fardis (Karaj).

- Tehran: Slogans such as “Without a doubt, the nation’s freedom will arrive” and “The only path to freedom is uprising and regime change” appeared in different parts of the city, alongside distributed images of Resistance leaders.
- Hamedan: Activists wrote “It is time for rebellion and uprising” on walls and public places.

- Babol: Protesters spread slogans such as “Rise to overthrow the mullahs’ regime” and “We can and must overthrow the mullahs’ regime”.
- Zahedan: In this city, a stronghold of anti-regime sentiment, the Resistance Units spread the message “The overthrow of the mullahs’ regime is near”.
- Shiraz: The slogan “Bahman is the month of blood; Khamenei will be overthrown” was prominently displayed, referring to the repressive nature of the regime.
- Fardis (Karaj): Protesters wrote “Just as the Shah’s regime was toppled, the end of the mullahs’ rule has arrived”.

These activities also included the distribution of flyers featuring messages from Massoud Rajavi and images of Resistance leaders in public areas, aiming to inspire more defiance and encourage continued resistance against the regime.
A Growing Resistance Until the Regime’s Overthrow
According to reports, a total of 395 acts of resistance were carried out by the Resistance Units in Bahman alone. The campaign reflects the growing determination of the PMOI Resistance Units to confront the regime’s oppressive rule.
