Iranian security forces destroy homes of impoverished people; the youth respond

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, Iranian regime’s suppressive State Security Forces destroyed two shops under construction belonging to Baluch citizens in Sarzeh village (Sistan and Baluchestan province), and several homes of impoverished people in Qaleh-Sefid village of Najafabad (Isfahan province). Prior to that, on February 18, the regime’s forces had destroyed homes of impoverished people in Isfahan, Zahedan, Sirjan, and Chabahar.

In response to these anti-popular and inhumane crimes, which are continuously perpetrated by the mullahs and their criminal IRGC guards, on Thursday, February 20, Iran’s rebellious youth struck centers of suppression and looting, centers of fundamentalism and crime, and IRGC bases in various cities.

The rebellious youth in Tehran, Mashhad, Kermanshah, Khorramabad, and Hashtgerd set fire to the banners and billboards of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and supreme leader Ali Khamenei, and attacked the regime’s symbols with 15 operations:

  • Setting fire to a regime building in District 4 in Tehran
  • Setting fire to the Khomeini Relief Committee in Kermanshah
  • Setting fire to the center of fundamentalism and crime in Mashhad
  • Setting fire to IRGC Basij bases in Tehran, Khorramabad, and Hashtgerd (Alborz Province)
  • Setting fire to government billboards, banners, and posters with the images of Khomeini, Khamenei, Ebrahim Raisi, and the regime’s executioners, including Ali Razini, Mohammad Moghiseh, Qassem Soleimani, and the regime’s terrorist proxies in Tehran, Mashhad, Rasht, Shiraz, Amol, Bushehr, Qazvin, and Zabol

The destruction of homes of impoverished people is a very heinous and disgraceful crime that is not very common even in dictatorial regimes that consider the continuation of their rule. But the mullahs’ dictatorship is wantonly and brutally destroying the shelters of the impoverished.

In one of these heinous crimes, at 3:00 AM on February 18, 2025, while residents and children were asleep, the suppressive State Security Forces, in a brutal raid on Luchu village in the Manzelab area of Zahedan County, destroyed at least 18 homes and homes under construction belonging to Baluch citizens.

On the same day in Sirjan, the regime’s criminal agents destroyed the homes of the impoverished. In one of the videos published on social media after the destruction of the houses, a man is seen standing next to the destroyed houses, saying with tears and anger: “It’s really a shame, Mayor! It is really a shame to send a bunch of executioners with bulldozers to destroy people’s lives to achieve what? People, the people of Iran, this is the house of a municipality employee, a firefighter. It’s really a shame. Mayor, have some shame, really be ashamed. At seven in the morning, a bunch of executioners broke into our house. Our poor mother has diabetes and had a stroke. What did they do to us? I just came out of the prosecutor’s office. They arrested us. People, look, we ask all the people of Iran to support us. We supported a fruit seller. The mayor is very dishonorable.”

On February 16, the regime’s forces, ostensibly acting on behalf the ministry of agriculture, destroyed the shacks of poor people in Monshiyan village in eastern Isfahan with the force of arms and equipment of the suppressive State Security Forces.

On January 9, the suppressive forces destroyed several homes of Baluch citizens in Chabahar County. On the same day, the rebellious youth of Chabahar wrote on their signs and placards: “The destruction of the houses of the people of Baluchestan is a lever of pressure from both the Shah and the mullahs’ regimes,” “The answer to the destruction of the houses of the impoverished Baluch people in the cold season is fire and overthrow.” “The mullahs’ regime must be overthrown so that people can be freed from the suffering and misery of poverty, corruption and high prices.”

Subsequently, in response to the brutal destruction of people’s homes, including in Shirabad, Zahedan, rebellious youth struck at the Basij bases and the symbols of the mullahs’ corrupt rule, demonstrating that the answer to the monster that breathes with poverty, destruction, and devastation of people’s shelters is fire.
