Iran regime icons become targets for PMOI/MEK network

Reported by PMOI/MEK

Iran, Feb. 2, 2019 – Members of Resistance Units, a network associated to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are targeting bases of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij paramilitary forces and regime icons on a daily basis.

These measures are taking place in circumstances when the mullahs’ regime is going the distance to protect these sites. Such bold actions and filming the footage while they do so signals the courage of Resistance Unit members.

In Khorramabad, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 588 set fire to a seminary run by the ruling mullahs. These sites are actually used by the regime to recruit more IRGC and Basij members, and to spread their fundamentalism and extremist perspectives. The resistance unit members were chanting, “Long live Iran, Hail to Maryam and Massoud Rajavi,” referring to opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and Massoud Rajavi, leader of the Iranian Resistance.

Members of Resistance Unit 666 in Neyshabur, northeast Iran, set fire to posters of Iranian regime founder Khomeini and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In Mahshahr, southwest Iran, members of resistance units set fire to the entrance of a base belonging to the regime’s oppressive apparatus.

Members of a resistance unit in Karaj, west of Tehran, put up posters of Massoud Rajavi, quoting him saying, “The country of Iran, with its enchained nation, has risen.”

In Tehran, the country’s capital, members of resistance units have put up posters of Maryam Rajavi’s ten-point plan for the future, free Iran. Other such resistance unit members took to graffiti and even wrote “Death to Khamenei” behind a city bus commuting on busy streets.

Members of a resistance unit in Zahedan, southeast Iran, took to graffiti and wrote “Death to Khamenei” on a street.

In Ahvaz, southwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 888 put up Massoud Rajavi posters.

Members of Resistance Unit 800 in Mashhad, northeast Iran, hailed the PMOI/MEK and took to graffiti to write “Death to Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi.”

In the cities of Yazd, Zahedan and Bushehr, members of resistance units took to graffiti to write, “Hail to Rajavi – Death to Khamenei – Iran Maryam Maryam Iran.”
