Reporting by PMOI/MEK
Iran, December 10, 2019—The November uprising in Iran that rattled the very pillars of the mullahs’ regime spread to over 200 cities, according to latest reports. The Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has also been able to obtain the names of 400 Iranians killed by the mullahs’ oppressive security forces who opened fire and resorted to utter force in their quelling of peaceful demonstrations.
The MEK has obtained and published the names of 400 protesters killed by the regime’s ruthless forces. These unprecedented protests caught the mullahs’ entire apparatus completely off guard and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the parent coalition of the MEK, has tallied the total number of protesters killed by the mullahs’ security forces to 1,029 at the time of this report’s publication.
“The religious dictatorship ruling Iran is doing its utmost to conceal the real scope of this crime against humanity. A large number of children and minors are among the martyrs,” the NCRI statement reads.
During the past week or so, large groups of Iranians and PMOI supporters have held protests and gatherings across the globe, including London, Rome, Hamburg, Brussels, Oslo, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Vienna, Geneva, Arhus, Toronto, Washington, Dallas, and Canberra.
Iranians in exile are calling on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to take urgent action aimed at bringing an end to the crackdown and mass killing of the Iranian people, and hold Iranian regime officials accountable for crimes against humanity. They urged the UN to implement a suggestion of Iranian opposition NCRI President Maryam Rajavi to dispatch a fact-finding mission to Iran visiting the regime’s prisons and those arrested.

The brutal crackdown imposed by the mullahs’ Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), Basij and other oppressive apparatuses also left over 4,000 injuries and at least 12,000 detainees placed behind bars. Concerns are escalating over these prisoners’ fates as they are most certainly under torture as the regime is desperate to obtain coerced confessions in an attempt to justify its ruthless crackdown. Furthermore, there are reports of the number of detained protesters escalating throughout Iran.

The Iranian people do not want a corrupt regime that prefers foreign proxy forces over the Iranian people. The United States stands alongside the Iranian people.

Reports indicate internet connection remains down in areas near the city of Sarbaz in Sistan & Baluchistan Province, in southeast Iran bordering Pakistan. Conditions are reported as very tense and “fire simmering in the ashes,” according to a local who also explained they are able to view Iran National TV, a satellite network affiliated to the Iranian opposition NCRI.
Mohammad Ali Abtahi, a member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament), shed further light that all branches of the mullahs’ so-called government are united on one issue: pressuring and plundering the Iranian people. “The Majlis has no other interest but reaching deeper into people’s pockets. Right now [the Majlis] is making life miserable for the Iranian people,” he said.
