Iran, Jan. 31, 2019 – Members of a vast network (“Resistance Units”) associated directly to the Iranian People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) inside Iran are braving all odds and even launching attacks targeting the regime’s most repressive organs.
In Mashhad, northeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 405 set fire to the entrance of a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij paramilitary forces base and a poster of Iranian regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and current Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Members of Resistance Unit 119 in Khorramabad, western Iran, also set fire to the entrance of an IRGC Basij base.
In Isfahan, central Iran, members of Resistance Unit 555 launched measures and set fire to an IRGC Basij base while chanting, “Death to Khamenei.”
Members of Resistance Unit 900 in the city of Golpayegan, southwest Iran, set fire to a large Khamenei poster while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 522 also set fire to an IRGC Basij poster while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi – Hail to the National Liberation Army of Iran.”
Members of Resistance Unit 866 in Bushehr, southern Iran, tore apart and set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei poster.
In Tabriz, northwest Iran, members of resistance units set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei poster and left a sign commemorating a number of PMOI/MEK members killed by the IRGC on February 8, 1982.
