Iran, Jan. 6, 2019 – Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are reporting more activities and expansion in cities across the country.
In Tehran, members of a resistance unit took to graffiti writing, “Death to Khamenei (referring to Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei) – Teachers, workers, students, unite, unite – Death to the mullahs’ regime” in various parts of the city.
In the Shemiran region of the country’s capital, members of a resistance unit also took to graffiti writing “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi” (referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi) in various parts of the country.
Members of Resistance Unit 950 also wrote the same slogans in Tehran.
In Khorramabad, western Iran, members of a resistance unit set fire to a Khamenei poster.
In Saqqez, western Iran, members of a resistance unit set fire to a poster of Iranian regime founder Khomeini and Khamenei.
Members of a resistance unit in Zahedan, southeast Iran, set fire to a Khamenei poster and left a sign at the scene reading, “Death to Khamenei, Hail to Massoud & Maryam Rajavi.”
In Mashhad, northeast Iran, members of a resistance unit also took to graffiti quoting Maryam Rajavi, “The mullahs’ must go. The state belongs to the Iranian people.”
Another resistance unit in this city took to graffiti writing, “Death to Khamenei.”
In Ahvaz, southwest Iran, members of a resistance unit wrote in graffiti, “Massoud Rajavi: The fire of uprising will continue.” Other resistance unit members in this city distributed a leaflet reading, “Maryam Rajavi: The mullahs’ must go. The state belongs to the Iranian people.”
In Shiraz, south-central Iran, resistance unit members wrote in graffiti, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”
Members of a resistance unit in Isfahan also took to graffiti writing, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi – No to mullahs.”
In Bushehr, resistance unit members distributed leaflets reading, “Maryam Rajavi: Hail to the protesters across the country – Hail to freedom – The mullahs’ must go. The state belongs to the Iranian people.”
In Hamedan, western Iran, resistance unit members took to graffiti writing, “Mullahs’ regime – Overthrow – Overthrow.”
In Dezful, southwest Iran, members of a resistance unit visited the gravesite of Mohsen Adeli, killed by Iran’s security forces during the Dec 2017/Jan 2018 uprising. They left a sign on behalf of the PMOI/MEK supporters.
