While more people are dying to coronavirus with each passing day due to the regime’s criminal and plundering policies, regime President Hassan Rouhani ridiculously claimed today that his government “has been unprecedented in providing medical care throughout Iran’s history. If anyone thinks otherwise, they can come forward. Bring us Iran’s history, from the Achaemenids, let’s review the history books. Iran had around 90,000 beds before our government, and at the end of our tenure we will be handing over around 160,000 beds.”

“From the very first day that we realized coronavirus has entered the country we never hesitated in informing the public. Iran has been one of the most organized countries in precisely announcing its numbers. Based on international standards we have been announcing our numbers each day and in precise manner. This has been one of the biggest honors of my government and the Health Ministry,” he added.

“The number of Covid-19 victims in the past three months is equal to the number of deaths since day one of coronavirus,” said the head of the Health Network in Kohgiluyeh & Boyer Ahmad province on Saturday, according to the Fars news agency, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

“The beds of each three branches of the Payambar-e A’zam Hospital in Qeshm are full of coronavirus patients. This is a serious alarm bell for the residents of Qeshm,” said the director of Qeshm’s Health Network on Saturday, according to the IRGC Quds Force-affiliated Tasnim news agency.

“During the past few days election campaign centers have become the main epicenter of the coronavirus spread. We are witnessing many people contracting Covid-19 in election gatherings,” said the dean of Ardabil Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the Tasnim news agency.

In Khuzestan province elections gatherings have made coronavirus conditions even more difficult. “We have time and again issued instruction letters to elections campaign officials,” said the head of the West Health Network in the city of Ahvaz on Tuesday, according to the regime’s official IRIB news agency.

“We are witnessing an increase in the number of people being hospitalized. This figure currently stands at 1093 hospitalized for coronavirus, of which 141 are in ICUs,” said the deputy dean of Shiraz Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
