In Mazandaran, the coronavirus is being described as fire under the ashes. The number of people seeking initial medical care is in escalating. “During the sixth wave we witnessed stats showing two peaks. These numbers have yet to stabilize, and we had not reached conditions prior to the sixth wave. And now, once again, stats are rising and this trend has raised concerns,” said the deputy dean of Mazandaran Medical Sciences University on Tuesday, March 29, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“We are seeing an increase in the number of coronavirus numbers in Gilan province, and the number of patients hospitalized in Gilan has risen by 29 percent in comparison to last week,” said the Gilan Medical Sciences University spokesperson on Tuesday, March 29, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“The number of people being hospitalized in Golestan province has been increasing and causing concerns. There are now 62 people hospitalized in ICUs, of which 35 are in critical conditions and under ventilators,” according to a statement released by the Golestan Medical Sciences University on Tuesday, March 29.

“During the past three or four days, in addition to the increasing number of people hospitalized we are witnessing an escalating number of positive PCR and preliminary tests. This can be an alarm bell regarding an increasing number of people being hospitalized and a new coronavirus wave,” according to a statement released on Tuesday, March 29, by the Mashhad Medical Sciences University regarding Razavi Khorasan province.

“The decreasing Covid trend has come to a halt.”

There is a possibility that the number of new Covid-19 cases will rise in the coming days. During the past 24 hours 30 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in ICUs,” said the dean of Ardabil Medical Sciences University on Tuesday, March 29, according to the regime’s official IRNA news agency.

“With 123 new patients hospitalized in the past 24 hours the total number of coronavirus patients hospitalized stands at 255. We also have 2460 coronavirus patients hospitalized at their homes,” according to a statement released on Monday, March 28, by the Jondi Shapour Medical Sciences University in Ahvaz regarding Khuzestan province.
