“Despite the positive vaccination trend, the number coronavirus deaths places East Azerbaijan province at sixth in the country. Each day we have 100 to 130 positive coronavirus tests,” said the deputy dean of Tabriz Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“During the past 24 hours 113 have contracted coronavirus. 471 have been hospitalized for coronavirus while 126 are in ICUs and 27 are under ventilators,” said the caretaker dean of West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the Mehr news agency.

The Isfahan Medical Sciences University said the number of people being hospitalized is now higher than those being released, according to a Saturday report wired by the Mehr news agency.

“The number of people contracting coronavirus and seeking medical care has been increasing in the past few days. On the other hand, contract workers and medical staff not receiving their paychecks has resulted in a lack motivation among personnel in the front lines of the battle against coronavirus,” said dean of Kohgiluyeh & Boyer Ahmad Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the Tasnim news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force.

“The current coronavirus conditions are fragile and witnessing ups and downs. Each day 800 to 1000 patients seek medical care in selected medical centers,” said the director of the Hygiene Network in Razavi Khorasan province.

With 73 new coronavirus patients hospitalized in the past 24 hours the total number of such patients hospitalized in Fars province stands at 672, of which 95 are in ICUs, according to a Saturday report wired by the Mehr news agency.
