Why Iran’s rural areas are becoming deserted?

In recent years, a large number of villages in Iran have become deserted, and their inhabitants have migrated to cities and urban areas. The trend, which continues to escalate, threatens to damage the agriculture industry of Iran. But without access to water, electricity and other necessary fundamental needs, the villagers of Iran have no other choice than to leave their homes and move to city suburbs, where they still live in misery and poverty.
