A delegation of women’s rights activists from different countries attended and spoke at the Free Iran 2018 rally, the largest gathering of the Iranian opposition, which took place in Villepin, France, in June. The speakers included former Albanian MP Valentina Leskaj, Ranjana Kumari, Director of Centre for Social Research in India, Maria Candida Almeida, Deputy Attorney General and former Attorney General of Portugal, and women’s rights activist Elena Alverdin.
