Reporting by PMOI/MEK
Iran, November 25, 2019—A network affiliated directly to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), including supporters and members of Resistance Units, have been escalating their activities since Saturday, November 23. Large posters of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi, along with quotes of his advice to protesters are seen going up in various areas of the Iranian capital Tehran.
Other banners carried anti-regime slogans, such as “Death to Khamenei,” in reference to Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In various areas of Tehran including Abuzar Blvd, Afsarieh Expressway, Dowlat-abad Square, and Hejrat Street, large Massoud Rajavi images were installed with quotes reading, “Support and provide refuge to rebellious youth,” and “The overthrow of the inhuman enemy is certain.”

Resistance units carried out their activities despite the fact that senior regime officials have placed the regime’s military, law-enforcement, and intelligence apparatus on full alert, especially in Tehran.

Footage of previous activities carried out by the resistance units dating to days before this latest round of protests indicate how this PMOI network has been keeping the flame of anti-regime protests and resistance very much alive in the Iranian society. These resistance units members and MEK supporters have long been specifically targeting icons of the mullahs’ regime and various bases affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij paramilitary forces.
