PMOI/MEK network continuing anti-regime measures across Iran

Reported by PMOI/MEK

Iran, May 13, 2019 – Members of “Resistance Units,” a vast network associated to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are extending their brave measures against the mullahs’ regime ruling Iran. These activities are weakening the regime’s control and the climate of fear throughout Iranian society.

In East Azerbaijan Province, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 169 set fire to a large regime poster on a boulevard containing images of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and current Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In West Azerbaijan Province, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 444 set fire to a large Khamenei image on a local road. Such measures are a reminder for the mullahs’ regime about the opposition weakening their rule.

Members of Resistance Unit 598 in the city of Khansar, Isfahan Province in central Iran, set fire to the entrance of a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij base.

In the city of Ardabil, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 870 destroyed a poster of a regime base.

Members of Resistance Unit 424 in the city of Islamabad, western Iran, set fire to large Khomeini/Khamenei posters in a city street.

In Sistan & Baluchestan Province, southeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 190 set fire to an IRGC Basij poster near a base of this force.

It is worth noting that the U.S. State Department recently designated the IRGC as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization” (FTO).
