PMOI/MEK “Resistance Units” escalate activities across Iran

Iran, Dec. 11, 2018 – With protests and strikes increasing across the country, members of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) are increasing their measures in numerous provinces across the country.

 

 

Members of a resistance unit in Rasht, northern Iran, raised a sign reading, “Dear college students, expand the resistance units in universities across the country” and chanted “Death to Khamenei,” in reference to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In Isfahan, members of Resistance Unit 362 set fire to posters of Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and regime founder Khomeini. Members of this resistance unit also chanted, “Hail to Rajavi.”

Members of Resistance Unit 900 in Baluchistan, southeast Iran, also set fire to Khomeini/Khamenei posters while chanting, “Death to the mullahs’ regime – Hail to Rajavi – Viva Freedom.”

In Mazandaran, northern Iran, members of a  resistance unit took to graffiti and wrote, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”

 

 

Another Mazandaran resistance unit tore down a Khomeini banner and took to graffiti to write, “Death to Khamenei.”

In Kermanshah, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 457 marked “Students Day” by putting up signs quoting Iranian opposition President Maryam Rajavi saying, “Dear students, you are the hope of freedom and victory in Iran.”

Members of Resistance Unit 512 in Darab of south-central Iran also took to graffiti, writing “Death to Khamenei.”

In Tehran’s Qarchak district, members of a resistance unit took to graffiti to write various slogans encouraging students in their anti-regime protests.

 

 

In Urmia, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 314 also wrote “Death to Khamenei” in graffiti.

Members of a resistance unit In Golpaygan, southwest Iran, took to graffiti writing, “Imprisoned college students must be released.

In Dezful, southwest Iran, members of a resistance unit at the Open University put up signs reading, “Neither threats nor prison, none are no longer effective – College students, teachers & workers, unite, unite – College students will not live in shame.”

In Tehran University, members of a resistance unit put up signs reading, “Workers, students, teachers, congratulations on your unity – Colleges are bastions of freedom – Students Day marks the students struggle against dictatorship – Campuses are not military bases.” One of the resistance unit members said, “The voice of college students will never be silenced.”
