Key remarks by Pandeli Majko in Free Iran International Conference in Ashraf 3

On July 13, 2019, dignitaries from dozens of countries across the world attended the main event of the Free Iran 2019 international conference. The conference was part of the five-day Free Iran 2019 series of conferences at the main headquarters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Ashraf 3, Albania. Several dignitaries, political and human rights activists delivered speeches, issuing remarks about the struggles of the Iranian people and their resistance movement for freedom in their country.

The following are key remarks by the Minister of State for Diaspora and former Prime Minister of Albania Pandeli Majko at the Ashraf 3 conference.

Pandeli Majko:

Dear friends, dear Madam Maryam Rajavi, the home of Albania is under the ownership of the God and the friends that knock his door, and you knocked on your doors, you are in our faith.

This is the reason that all Albanians are together in your house in Ashraf 3. You know that lately in Albania politicians are in tough debates with each other. Sometimes it’s very tough. But for your stay here, there is no debate. Because you are in the faith of Albanians, and this is our tradition.

Now, they must know that if they raise the issue of your stay here in Albania, the Ambassador of Iran and hid deputy have been kicked out. Don’t push us for more, because we are ready to repeat the same expression of Albanians in Berlin during the Second World War, “Gold yes, the Mujahedin are our friends.”

And this is the reason that we are all together here honoring such activity because you have honored us doing by such a beautiful Ashraf 3 like a real institution of friendship between us. I hope that soon we will come to see you in Tehran. Thank you.
