The Isfahan University students held demonstration on Sunday and while chanting anti-government slogans asked for release of the arrested Polytechnic University students.
While singing the anthem” school friend” and chanting slogans like “student dies but never accept abjection” and “the jailed student must be released”, the students rallied toward the northern gate of the university. The students read a statement at the end of demonstration which reads: The body of student and university is exhausted under the brutal lashes of fanaticism, despotism and fundamentalism. Student has lost his tolerance. The silence must be broken. For gaining incontestable rights, one should shout. Now we have to scream the “freedom shout” for the jailed Polytechnic students. Now is time of rising against the despotism’s rigorous attack.
