Iran, Isfahan, April 15, 2018 – About a thousand farmers and people from Isfahan gathered at the Khoorasan Square at 8pm on Saturday night despite a heavy presence of security and plain clothes agents of the clerical regime ruling Iran. The demonstration covered an area from beginning of Abazar Ave. to Khoorasan Square. They were chanting slogans including:
Imprisoned farmer must be freed,
Farmers would rather die to give up their right,
We, the women and men, will fight on for our right to irrigation water.
