VIDEO: Survivors of regime assault on E.Ghouta treated in makeshift hospital

Orient Net, Feb. 24, 2018— Warplanes pounded Syria’s Eastern Ghouta on Saturday, the seventh day in a row of a fierce escalation by Assad regime and its allies, killing and wounding dozens of civilians.

Syria Civil Defense rescuers in the opposition enclave said on Saturday (February 24) the bombing would not let up long enough for them to count the bodies, in one of the bloodiest air assaults of the seven-year war.

This video shows seriously injured people being treated in a makeshift hospital in Douma and a little girl explaining how their home was bombed.

Head of Syria Civil Defense rescue group told Orient Net that 5 hospitals and 5 civil defense centers were targeted, taking most of them out of service, and killing 4 rescuers.

Residents holed up in basements and medical charities decried attacks on a dozen hospitals, as the United Nations pleaded for a truce in Ghouta, the only big opposition bastion near the capital.
