Assad regime’s slaughtering civilians resumed

Orient New, Feb. 11, 2018 – Assad regime forces have continued bombing Eastern Ghouta towns and cities after reports of calm down in attacks for hours as the Israeli raids were reported in Damascus and its countryside against Assad-affiliated militias.


At least five people were killed on Saturday (February 10) and dozens were seriously injured in Douma after dozens of rockets hit the besieged city, according to Orient News Correspondent Mohammad Abdlrahman.


“On Sunday three airstrikes were conducted by Assad regime jets on the city of Hamoriyya where at least one civilian was killed and dozens were injured”.


Surface-to-surface missiles hit the city on Harasta in the last few hours, according to Orient News’s Hadi al-Munajed, who added Al-Abbada, Mesraba and Medyara towns also witnessed similar regime attacks.


White Helmets rescuers published footage online of what they said the aftermath of a regime airstrike in Hamorriya.


The United Nations said about 400,000 civilians besieged in the Eastern Ghouta area face “complete catastrophe” because aid deliveries are blocked by the regime and hundreds of people who need urgent medical evacuation have not been allowed outside the enclave.
