Terrorists involved in Buri oil pipeline blast arrested in Bahrain

Manama – SPA, 07 Feb, 2018 – As part of counter-terrorism operations and to maintain national
security, the Bahraini security authorities arrested a gang of terrorists accused of plotting and blasting an oil pipeline near the Buri village on 10 November 2017.

The investigation revealed that two of those arrested had received intensive training at the Iranian Revolutionary Guard camps with the help of the leading fugitive terrorists living in Iran.

According to BNA, the incident was a serious terrorist crime that targeted the supreme interests of the nation and the people’s safety.
However, the damage caused by the blast was brought under control and its catastrophic fallout was contained by the grace of God and the cooperation and coordination between the Bahraini Interior Ministry and the Oil Ministry.
