In Karaj City, northwest of Tehran people chanted anti-government slogans

Karaj City, northwest of Tehran; As thousands of protesters gathered on Sunday, Jan. 7, to rally against the government failed policies and to show their anger and frustration at this regime, dozens of club welding hoodlums and suppressive security forces raided the crowd and tried to intimidate and scatter them. But the protesters confronted the guards and started to chant “lewd, lewd….” at the guards.

Tens of Thousands of Iranians, especially the youth have come to the streets during past two weeks to protest the government’s corruption and mismanagement. The protests started in the northern Iranian city of Mashhad and soon spread to more than 100 cities across Iran.
