Baghdad Post, December 15 2017 - The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Friday that at least seven people were killed in a shelling by the Syrian army on eastern Ghouta and the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

SOHR said the bombardment targeted a number of towns in Ghouta, leaving a child and two women among the dead amid clashes between the Syrian army and opposition forces.

The siege imposed by the Syrian army on Ghouta left another child dead.

SOHR underlined that three people were killed in bombardment on eastern the countryside of Deir Ezzor, adding the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) intensified its military operations against terrorist ISIS group in the eastern bank of the Euphrates river in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.
