Exclusive: Yemeni ex-President’s son vows to revenge from Houthis

Baghdad Post, December 05, 2017 – Former Yemeni Ambassador Ahmed Ali Saleh mourned his father former president Ali Saleh, a statement obtained by the Baghdad Post revealed on Tuesday.

It added, “I extend my deepest condolences to the martyrdom of the leader Ali Saleh who ferociously fronted the traitors (Iran-backed Houthis).”

He also conveyed his sympathy over the people who have been killed with his father in this terrorist attack.

He vowed before all Yemeni citizens inside and outside Yemen to fight the Iranian agents, Houthis terrorists, to revenge his father’s murder.

“Mercy upon the soul of the martyr (Saleh) of the country (Yemen) and shame on Iranian agents (Houthis) who have brought this country to its knees,” the statement read.

Earlier on Monday, Sources from Yemen’s General People’s Congress confirmed their leader and ex-President Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed during fierce clashes in the capital Sanaa with Houthi militias.

The past four days have witnessed deadly clashes between supporters of the former Yemeni president and his former Houthi militia allies.

Since March 2015, a Saudi-led military coalition has been fighting the Houthi terrorists in the Arab peninsula state of Yemen.
