Iran, July 14, 2017 – Various protest rallies and a hunger strikes took place on Wednesday July 12 in Ardebil, Orumieh and Yassouj.
Ardabil City: Workers of the city’s steel factory continue thier hunger strike at the Mirza Ali Akbar mosque. The steel factory workers protested sayinn their demands were not met by the government authorities. According to reports received from inside Iran, one of the striking workers went into the state of coma before the emergency ambulance came and transfered him to the hospital.

Orumieh City: Nursing students at Azad University on Wednesday organized a demonstration to protest the new Health Ministry’s decision to change rule for hireing hospital nurse.

Yasuj City: Pre-schooler teachers organized a gathering on Wednesday (July 12th) to protest their employment conditions.
Ilam city: More than 100 petro-chemical workers organized a rally in front of the entrance to the management’s complex hall to protest against non-payment of their salaries and benifits and failure to furnish their residential units.
