In the beginning Gilbert Mitterrand, president of Danielle Mitterrand foundation, welcomed the audience to the Free Iran Grand Gathering 2017
After that, Anwar Malek, former Arab League Observer, also welcomed the audience and wished for victory of Iran and Arab peoples
Anwar Malek also said: The Iranian regime in Tehran is the source of all crises in the region. We are with you!
Linda Chavez, former head of the Liaison Office of the White House, followed Mr. Malek saying “you are the hope for the freedom of Iran.”
Ms. Chavez added: Your movement under the direction of Maryam Rajavi is the movement that can remove the clerical regime.
Sona Samsami, the NCRI representative to the US, was co-moderator of the event. She said we are the voice of the voiceless.
Samsami hailed political prisoners in various prisons in Iran and lauded their courage in supporting the gathering.
Wrestling Champion Muslim Eskandar Filabi hailed the people of Iran who have cornered the Iranian regime with their calls for justice.
Another speaker, Prof. Daneshgari declared support for the ten-point plan of the Iranian Resistance presented by NCRI president, Maryam Rajavi.
