Iran: Thousands protest in front of the parliament + photo and video

In Tehran
, thousands from all walks of life have gathered in front of the parliament demanding their wages and rights.

 

 

 

 

Signs and posters carried by the protesters read:
“We demand the synchronization of all pensions according to college degree and work experience from the current year and the reimbursement of 70% of the salaries unpaid from prior year.”

 

 

 

 

 

This gathering was staged based on previous call by the retired teachers and other pensioners.
It started on Tuesday morning Tehran time and the number of protesters are growing by the hour.
The number of protesters at about 1200 noon surpassed 4,000 people.
From 10am local time more than 2,000 protesters consisting of education pensioners, nurses and medics converged in front of the regime’s parliament demanding synchronization of their wages.
Also, more than 300 inspectors and experts from the Mine and Industry Ministry gathered in front of the Majlis (parliament) demanding job security and return to their jobs.
