Two Killed in Training Plane Crash in Pakistan

The Peninsula QATAR’S DAILY NEWSPAPER, 25 Feb 2017 - Islamabad: A training aircraft crash has left the pilot and co-pilot killed shortly after take-off from Pakistan’s Faisalabad airport on Friday afternoon, Geo TV reported.

The aircraft, a Cessna 162 Skycatcher was being operated by the private Shaheen Air Flying Training School. It is said to have crashed due to technical faults with the aircraft.

In December, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight carrying 48 people crashed near Abbottabad while en route to Islamabad from the northern city of Chitral.
