Iran, Demonstration: Hundreds gathered to free Arash Sadeghi


The Media Express, January 2, 2017 – Hundreds of people gathered in front of the notorious Evin prison on Monday, demanding the release of political prisoners Arash Sadeghi and his wife golrokh Ebrahimi.
Arash Sadeghi, an Iranian student activist, has been on a hunger strike for over 70 days. A statement from the Iranian opposition (NCRI) issued yesterday explained Arash Sadeghi lost consciousness after vomiting blood and suffered severe seizures and his body went into trembling, his kidneys are severely damaged and the risk of intestinal adhesion threatens him.
Today demonstration was called by a group of mothers of political prisoners and human rights defenders.
