Iran regime is using children in military maneuvers

Al-Watan Daily, published in Saudi Arabia, reported that “The Iranian regime has started extensive military maneuvers in which children under 15 are taking part. The military maneuvers named “Guardians of Velayat’s seven skies” started on Tuesday and are still going on. Pasdar Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeeli, the commander of Khatam-Al-Anbia Air Defense Base, directs the maneuvers. More than 17000 soldiers and members of Basij participate in these maneuvers.”
“Inclusion of children in military maneuvers blatantly violates the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child,” Al-Watan added. “The Iranian regime is a signatory of the convention that emphasizes on the protection of children in wars and bans recruitment of those who are under 15.”
